Smarter British office interiors improve business - fact! |
|
Refurbishing your existing offices can dramatically improve your business. It just takes a little harmony! we're not talking Feng Shui or similar schools of thought, but creating harmony within the workplace. Having interiors designed for the working environment and ensuring interiors are designed for form and function... with an eye to the future. This means developing an environment which is suitable for the people who work within it. In any business, people are the biggest asset and in many cases if we spent as much money on retaining our staff than we did on recruitment due to staff turnover - our business would be healthy, wealthy and wise! |

Anyone who has been tasked with refurbishment will be acutely aware of the many conflicts between the various parties involved. Architects, interior designers, builders, painters & decorators, fitters, contract furnishers, flooring, ceiling ... and more. Is it possible to find a British interior design company that undertakes the entire project from discussing an idea or dream right through to handing over the completed job.? It seems logical that a good UK based project management company with design and construction expertise should be able to work directly with the clients ... or indeed their architects. This notion applies not just to UK new-build contracts but refurbishments. There can be a lot of friction between differing teams of contractors and sub-contractors, each with looming penalties or bonuses. In a crisis ( and crises happen all the time ) do these individuals look at the big picture? they would almost make you believe that it is a myth that effective workplace designs and high quality interiors can be completed on time and to budget. It would take a special UK based interior design company to develop a non-adversarial approach which would mean that they can concentrate on solving the many challenges and problems sites that hinder the process of delivering projects to time and budget, not on finding someone else to blame. There is also the thought that if all elements were controlled by one company there would be far less shocks and surprises when we see the difference between the actual tender and the end cost. This is called 'The Tender Trap'. Traditionally. tendering for a construction project has generally been a 'ball park' figure but in todays on-line, high-tech age, we should be able to achieve more accurate pricing. JB Commercial Interiors Ltd specialise in the creation of office interiors both large and small. By remaining independent we are able to focus on the needs of the client first and foremost. From the initial meeting to the final sign off we listen to the client and ensure objectives are met with minimum disruption. Their objectives are to: Evaluate - To listen

and practical experience in creating a comprehensive brief of what is
needed and how it can be achieved.
